I love Olay products and have been an avid user for years, so I was anxious to try this face cleanser.

I like the bottle shape and color, and love that is has a pump nozzle. To me, a pump nozzle make it so much easier and quicker to get products out of their containers. This product was no exception. Just one quick squirt from the pump nozzle and I had enough cleanser in my palm to do the job.

The cleansing cream itself is white with little blue-green beads in it. Honestly, the little beads creeped me out a little bit. I really didn’t like the way the beads felt on my skin, they were a bit too scratchy. I could almost hear them crunching under my fingers as I massaged the cleanser into my skin.

Once I got past the crunchy bead thing everything else was pretty good. The cream has a light scent but it didn’t bother me, and normally I do not like anything scented on my face.

The cleanser definitely got rid of all the makeup on my face and my skin felt very clean and smooth afterwards. I also noticed that it didn’t dry my face out like a lot of other cleansers do. Sometimes I can almost feel my face puckering up because it’s so dry after using other cleansers. That wasn’t the case with the Olay Hydrate and Cleanse. I don’t really think the product added any extra moisture to my skin, but it didn’t seem to take away any either. That’s a good thing for me because my skin is very dry.

Some of the Olay products are out of my price range for continuous use, but this one was reasonable. I paid $8.00 for my 6.7 fl oz bottle of Olay Hydrate & Cleanse Micro-Bead Cleansing Serum, and it seems to be lasting a long time, so I think it’s a good value for the money.

All in all, I recommend this cleanser and will continue to use it on a regular basis.
