This face cream was just full of surprises! I am not typically an Avon fan, but this product has won me over.

When I first dipped my fingers in and felt the very thin watery consistency, I thought for sure I was not going to like this stuff. But once I started spreading it on my face I quickly changed my mind. It’s very silky and has a cool soothing feeling as it glides over the skin. Plus it does not take very much cream at all to cover the entire face and neck. My 1.7 fl. oz. jar of cream has lasted me for 4 months now and I use it twice a day.

Anyone who reads my product reviews knows that I do not like a scent in any product that is going to be on my face and under my nose. As soon as I started spreading the Avon Moisture 24 Long Lasting Hydrating Cream around my nose area, I noticed a slight scent and once again thought for sure I was not going to like this stuff. Honestly though the scent was sort of pleasant and didn’t bother me as much as I thought it would. I would still prefer no scent but I can live with this one because the scent gets less and less as the product dries and soaks into your skin.

Avon Moisture 24 Long Lasting Hydrating Cream is not greasy at all and soaks in to my skin quickly, and does not leave behind a sticky residue like a lot of other moisturizers I’ve tried.

More positives things are that this moisturizer is hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic, and suitable for sensitive skin.

The cream itself is white and comes in a blue jar with a blue lid. I do not like the jar that the cream comes in because it is made of glass and is quite heavy. That’s not a good thing when you have slippery face cream on your hands. I’m afraid I’m going to drop the jar every time I use it.

Bottom line: I paid $4.99 for this cream when it was on sale and think it is well worth the money. It lasts a long time, and lives up to the promises of moisturizing your face. The only thing missing is SPF, but I still give Avon Moisture 24 Long Lasting Hydrating two thumbs up!

Note to all of my relatives that sell Avon and read this review: I am not going to buy Avon from any of you because it would start a family war, so don’t even start pestering me about it .
